About 11-12 years ago I started collecting the Dept 56 villages. I still enjoy setting up the villages and creating nostalgic images for the holidays.

As time progressed I stumbled upon other collectors across the country on computer bulletin boards. The first group was Prodigy and then onto the Delphi computer bulletin boards. Since those have pretty much vanished in favor of "e-groups", I now belong to those.

Having always been a "crafty" person of sorts, I literally stumbled upon creating some items for myself. Since I was already going to the various gatherings around the country, I decided that it was time to see if I could actually sell my items. Lo and behold, they did sell!

Creating some of the miniatures that I sell is a labor of love. The fact that someone buys an item that I have made and placed it in their village still excites me. Not everything that I sell is handmade. However, I still get that thrill from selling it.

It is my sincerest hope that you get the same joy from purchasing these items and displaying them in your villages that I have gotten.
